This post is about the Sugar Daddy. Now, I know most of you know what a sugar daddy is but for the innocent and pure that don’t let me break the term down for you. A Sugar Daddy is a man who is financially successful and wants to shower his lady (or ladies) with gifts and money while the lady (or ladies) have a sexual relationship with him. Basically, this relationship gives the man the power he never had before the money.
Now, I’m not against the Sugar Daddy if you just want to have fun and get something out of it. Why not, we give it out for free with one night stands and hook ups. But, I strongly recommend not involving feelings in this relationship. It’s just clearly you get something out of it while he gets in you.
Are you wondering why I am talking about the Sugar Daddy? Well, I recently went on a date with a man who wanted to be my Sugar Daddy. I was curious and I’m a lady living in Manhattan who has to pay bills. I do have a 9-5 job but this lady likes nice things and nice things cost lots of the green.
He was what you thought he would look like; older, shorter, and not that attractive. But, he was a very nice man and explained that he is going through a divorce and just wants to have fun without the headache. So, I get that. And, I respect that. He was willing to help me with my rent and get me little gifts. Great, right? Well, right now at my age (29), I’m looking for more. I’m ready for a relationship where I can see a future with someone. I want the whole Happily Ever After so I had to decline Sugar Daddy’s offer of sexual favors and more money in my bank account. I am focusing on looking for Mr. Right and not Mr. Right Now. So back to the drawing board and to the dating sites.
